Tach display fades with heat

My 06 MCS has an issue with the tach display fading when it’s hot. Is this a normal bug common to these vehicles? In the morning I can read the display, but as the day gets hotter it is almost impossible to read. I searched the forums but didn’t find anything. The brightness is set as high as it will go. Anyone else with this issue and any solutions?

Its more of the colors being washed out from the sun. If you give it some shade with your hand you will be able to see it fine. I found that a cut 3 x 5 card can be taped as a hood to the tach to give it better visibilty as it gives it some shade increasing its visibilty.
