Oil consumption problem....

Hello, I have a justa ( base r56 120 hp) with 60.000 miles.
My mini burn about 550ml/1000miles.
I did a compression test and I see 200psi at all cylinders!!!! I think it’s too much. (No head job in the past)
My mechanic check the timing and he said that is ok!
We also check the pcv valve and is ok.
I have no leaks! No engine light!
If I have a long idle, I can see smoke from exhaust.
Motul 8100 xcess 5w-40
Im wondering where is the problem?

1 liter every 1800 miles is not too bad and many do that, but if there is blue smoke from
the exhaust after a long idle, perhaps some oil is getting by a valve guide seal.
Still, probably not a big deal at this point.

Have you tried a leak down test? I had a terrible oil consumption problem and found out the rings were bad. Like yours, no CEL, no leaks, and no timing issue.

@cristo, I don’t think its valve guides seals because at the morning after all night, when I start the engine there isn’t any smoke from exhaust.
@mustangcruise I tried a second compression test, with hot engine and I found the compression is 160psi. So the problem is rings, probably and something else.
The first compression was wrong, probably from oil into the cylinders.
