How do I reset the passenger airbag light

 

Find out why the passenger air bag is on (with an OBD II scanner).
Fix/replace the offending part (wires, seat sensor, etc).
Clear the air bag error code (with an OBD II scanner).

If you just clear the code with an OBD II scanner without fixing the issue, the light will reappear in the future.

There are various OBD II scanners that can diagnose air bag fault codes. The easiest and most reliable one is the $203 that ECS Tuning sells.

 

On the Gen1s that had a airbag seat monitoring issue I am thinking that the dealer had to reset unless you have inpa.
