Dropped Subframe, Now Won't Start

Hello,

I'm new to the forums, but I'm fairly familiar with my R50 mini. I've dropped the subframe before to swap a 6 speed getrag into it, and everything went fine.

Well, I dropped the subframe again to do some bushings, and now that the car is put back together, she wont start. The car turns over fine, the battery has been on a tender this entire time (even tried jumping it to give it more juice), but will not fire up.

I thought it was the immobilizer, but both keys cause a beep when next to the ignition, and can operate all the door locks just fine. (let me know if this is the incorrect line of thinking.)

I did replace the CPS o-ring, but that was like 5 minutes and not much work. Would a bad CPS cause it to crank but not start?

I hear the fuel pump kick in (I think) when i turn the key to ignition, the clutch relay seems to be working fine.

I am getting my OBD2 reader tonight to dig into it, but I tried the Onboard Diagnostic codes under section 14.0-14.4 in the dash, and the codes I get are 302800, and 9248ff, which I can't find anything on either code.

Any help would be appreciated!

I had a similar issue, disconnect the battery completely and touch the two cables together to discharge the system (they are off the battery while doing this!!).

After about 15 minutes put the cables back on and turn the key to the on position but do not crank it. Take your OBD scan tool and erase all codes.

Then try and start it.

Even though I had a battery tender on mine the voltage was too low and the DME freaked out. When I did the reset I have the battery fully charged (12.7 volts).

Hope that helps.

I tried the battery disconnect and discharge. Unfortunately, it didn't work. Also, the whole time there were no codes being thrown. I did notice that I was not getting any readings on RPMs during the cranking process through my ODB2 tool. I ordered a Crankshaft Position Sensor and swapped it out today. She sputtered for a second then started right up.

Thanks for the ideas downshift!
