N18 JCW, engine tries to stall, then picks back up?

So, a month or so ago, my spark plugs were upgraded to better ones. Since then, and this happens about 10% of the time, as I pull up to lights, or anything where the revs drop towards idle, they drop and drop, until its about to stall, and then suddenly picks back up. Its more an annoyance than anything as it makes the car shake quite a bit ( imagine trying to pull off with no revs sort of thing).

Other than putting the plugs back to OEM, what else could this be? I cant find any other occurrences of plugs causing this issue?

Which plugs did you put in? Sometimes, "upgrades" are not so much....I recall the old ads for "Splitfire" plugs....looked interesting on late night TV, but....

How many miles on your old plugs? There are other potential causes for this symptom.....how many miles on your car?

Thanks for the reply. I believe they were Evo plugs. 43,000 miles, no idea how long old plugs were in. Other things it could be?

OBD code reader would help, or auto parts store to read existing trouble codes.

Coils, fuel pump, etc. Also wrong plugs if the problem came on after changing them. Stick with OEM plugs unless you have a reason to change resulting from tuning the car.
