Traction Control & Low tire pressure light won’t go away

Hello, I am still fairly new to the world of working on Mini Coopers but recently I have gotten a problem where every time I go over a few bumps or get above about 10-20 miles per hour my car throws the traction control light and the low tire pressure light. It’s super strange because when I turn the car on the lights aren’t on but then when I start driving boom right back on. I really can’t figure out what is wrong or why it is doing this. I recently (about a week or two ago) put in new brake wear sensors along with the blue ABS/Wheel Speed sensors around the car and about a little over a week after putting them in I have come to this issue. And yes I have filled my tired all to the 35 psi that they are supposed to be at. Can someone please help me since this car is my daily and it’s quite difficult to enjoy my car when I have this issue going on.

Do you have a code reader?

welcome to the forum

since the traction control turns off, I think the car thinks it is slipping on one or more wheels. This leads me to think, the ABS sensors arent reading correctly or not plugged right? if you still have the old ABS sensors, can you put them back and record any change? do you have a scan tool to see the individual wheel speed?

+1 on the wheel speed sensors. Like MiniToBe said check each sensor is plugged in and clean. I am not sure why but most of the time it is the front left sensor. I hade the same thing on my R53

A bit more history and the location will go a long way helping accurately diagnosing the problem. One thing that stand out to me is what make you replaced all four wheel speed sensors? Shot gun trouble shooting is never a good thing. Assuming your car is rusty from salted winter road, by replacing the sensors when they were fine you just introduced more variables to whatever your original problem was or still is.

Per ECStuning most speed sensor issues is removal and installation into a rusted bore. If you had to struggle in doing so, I would start there.

i dont have a code reader but I originally replaced them due to an abs light and a traction light and low tire light so it fixed it for a little but now it’s back just this time without the abs light

ABS light would be on if it was a wheel speed sensor. Unless your ABS light is burned out.
I'm wondering if a bad steering wheel angle sensor might do the traction and low tire lights without the abs.

Yep i cracked one of them on the head when i tightened down the bolt if pushed down too much and i cracked the head because the hole was not clean and it did not set flush. Worked for a short time then finally went. These sensors are sensitive.

Get a Schwaben tool so you can scan which corner is bad.

I'm gonna ask the silly question here, Did you push and hold the tire pressure button on the center console till the light blinks then drive in a straight line up to 35mph?
