Dave

Hello,

I am getting two codes (5E16 CAN Connection to instrument cluster) and (5E19 CAN data fault from DME/DDE (DSC lamp on as long aserror is present)). I do have a wheel speed sensor code for the right front wheel and that is getting repaired. How do I correct the CAN error codes? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have an 06 R53 Mini Cooper S.

does the tach work? if it's not working check the wiring harness on the drivers left foot, it's below the fuses if the car has a sunroof you may have had the sunroof drain leak down onto that harness it's a very common issue

The tach works and the vehicle does not have a sunroof. I will check the wiring though to see if there is an issue there, thanks for the reply.
