Mystery vacuum line.. anyone know where this goes?

Hi Guys,

I know I posted this in another thread but am desperate and can't seem to find any vacuum routing diagrams online.

I pulled my intake manifold yesterday and replaced some parts. Now the car will start up then die. I noticed this vacuum line on top of the transmission and am wondering if it goes somewhere?

Car will run with the MAF disconnected so I'm thinking it has to be air/vacuum related.

Car is a 2007 base cooper

thanks!

this is the transmission breather line. it goes no where and it is connected only in one side (the transmission housing only) under the mount/fuse box.

no action is required.
