electrical wiring to the starter

Good afternoon guys,

A couple weeks ago I ordered a new starter motor online and pulled the old one out. The new starter arrived a week later and I realized it was the wrong one (17855) so I ordered a new one (17854). So its now been two weeks and I finally got the starter seated and bolted back in this afternoon. My problem now is that I forgot what wiring went to it, and what this other connection is for.

I have the 10mm one hooked up, but I am not sure about these two cables. I thought the one in the ribbed cable covering went to the 13mm bolt on the starter, but then I don't know what the thinner cable goes to. Any info would be great! thanks in advance!

Go check out mod mini's video on a clutch change. It will show you how to drop the subframe which includes unhooking the starter.

Both of the larger cables go on the large lug on the starter.
