Replaced my Fuel Filter and now my car wont start

After reading the forums and i decided to change my fuel filter. everything went pretty smoothly. i remembered to replace all the gaskets. everything seated nicely.
i primed it and i went to start it and now it wont start. it cranks and cranks but its not getting fuel for some reason. what could be causing this? i took everything back apart and checked and it all appeared good.

i have a 2012 mini cooper S

Plugging things in

The only thing i unplugged was the negative lead on the battery and the fuel line. both of which were re installed after the filter swap

You sure you didn’t unplug something from the bottom of the filter housing . I would double check all of that

get a light tester and check of you have power to narrow down problem area. also, clear codes even if you dont see CEL. lastly, remove the fuse and reinstall it to "reset" the pump.

put the old fuel filter and see if it starts. If it does, then you have faulty new filter in your hand
