R56 Hesitation

Looking for some advice on my 2008 Mini Cooper S......

I own a 2008 Mini Cooper S R56. I recently upgraded the plugs & coils to Brisk Racing plugs & IP Performance Ignition Coils. I thought I would see that crisp acceleration like when the car had a few less miles on it however it bucks & hesitates badly on acceleration..... I spoke with Brisk and they said set the plug gap to .028. The car is stock, the only mods are a K&N filter, upgraded turbo hoses & plugs & coils....

Any advice...

If the plugs are ok, coils are ok,(maybe a new one that failed)? Then look at the carbon build up:

, if that's ok are you throwing a code, if so look at the code (schwaben tool). If all ok it couple be the HPFP acting up.

You might try going back to OEM coils and plugs to see if the problem goes away. If it does try installing only plugs or coils, not both, to see which set is causing your grief.
