'03 MCS with 1400 miles so far. No major problems but i have noticed a sligt wavering hesitation at about 3,000 to 3.500 rpms in 2nd gear when i accelerate rapidly. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Hey Doc,

Check out these links: MCO Link Mini2 Link

This surging problem seems to be relatively common. No one really has the answer yet but certain items seemed to have helped.

The "drive by wire" system itself is a little odd in general and probably has a lot to do with it. You should have all the current software upgrades since you have an 2003.

If it is really significant (the surging) then a dealer visit might be in order to see if you can reproduce it for them.

Good luck!
