wondering if there where ways out there to change the serp belt without getting the special tool......thanks

There are several ways to "skin the cat" without the tool. There is a recent thread around here where the guy used a jack to get the tensioner loose. I have used a long wood clamp in the past in conjunction with loosening the bolt that holds the tensioner that can be seen in the above thread.
