sticking passender handle & side light lamp holder needed

I posted this in hatch talk, but maybe it belongs here since my post on repairing a bumper cover was moved here.
The passenger handle "trigger" on my 04 Cooper S JCW sticks in the compressed position and I have to tiddle the forward end to get the rear end to come back out of the metal handle. I've heated it with a hair dryer (which helped) and sprayed a lot of WD40 into the inside, but even though it got up to 45 degrees today it still sticks. Any suggestions?

I found the lamp holder on the left rear side light is toast from corrosion. The light strip is OK, it is just the removable lamp holder that is bad. I see the side light assemblies on Amazon for 10 to 15 dollars, but not just the lamp holder. Are these available somewhere?

I also found the cables for sliding the seats forward when you fold the backs forward are broken or missing. Are these available? The little levers are there but one has no cable and the other has a piece of broken cable in it.

Update: I was able to straighten out the contacts in the lamp holder and get it to work, but in case anyone else has this problem the local O'Reilly's said they could order the whole side light including the lamp holder for under $10. It's probably Chinese, but might be a cheap fix if this one doesn't hold.

I still have trouble getting my passenger door handle "trigger" to return. It is better in today's 40 degree temp, but I still have to diddle the forward end to get the back end to return. I'll try more lube on the latch at the door edge, but am wondering if there is a spring in the handle or if it depends on the cable to return the trigger part. Anyone know? I'll also try blowing out the handle with compressed air to get any water out before it freezes here again.
