Oil Leak from Bell Housing

I replaced my engine last summer and installed a new rear main oil seal. I now have oil coming from the hole at the bottom of the bell housing but I am not sure it's engine oil.
The trans has 190K miles on it.
When I was at the dealer the other day they said my slave cylinder was leaking but I couldn't afford to get it replaced at their prices. The boot is deteriorate but I can't be sure it's leaking.
. I put synchromech oil in the trans.
So...my question is can a slave cylinder leak and run down inside the bell housing? If not, I probably have a bad input shaft seal on the trans.
I ordered a new slave of RA. I hope if fixes it.

Brake fluid is water soluble and oil is not so it should be easy to tell one from the other.

The rear main seal replacement can be a issue and if not performed correctly, the seal will leak. They make UV light dyes.

Rear main seal, then the seal on the bell housing behind the guide tube. The Slave can leak inside the bell but its brake fluid and with an easy examination or pop out the two bolts of the slave and check it really quick. Then you will know.

Main seal: 11111492244

Guide tube seal: 23117518633 smells like the funky trans fluid

ECS brought up the trannie fluid, and that stuff does have one odor that is not going to be confused with motor oil or brake fluid.

Whole doing my clutch I removed the bolts and tried to remove the bell housing which seemed to have a gasket squished between it and the clutch area. Where can I find a replacement gasket?

What gasket material? There isn’t any when doing a clutch. Your picture looks like a wire may have gotten pinched inside the bell housing.

Yep, no gasket, my guess is a wire or something also.

Should I put RTV? That's what I saw someone else rebuilding the Midland did and I found something similar to RTV on the bolts I took out.

Also I will have the flywheel turned, but do I need to rough up the face with sand paper?
