Halogen Headlight (not Bi-Xenon) Issue...

Hey group, thanks for reading and offering some help.

My passenger-side headlight, low-beam, needs to be adjusted upwards, a significant amount.

Forum threads correctly identify the adjustment screws addressing high-beam adjust. I've done that adjustment successfully and found the adjust screws very effective.

My issue is low-beam.

I've removed the bulb, made sure it's installed correctly, and it's still pointing far too low to be useful. I'e checked the mounting screws and they are all tight/secure in their correct locations.

Anyone else experience and solve this issue?

Going to move you to the Stock Problems/Issues area.

You have made sure that entire housing is mounted from beneath correctly?

I will double-check the install tonight. First pass with eyes and a 10mm didn't show anything out of the ordinary.

has it 'always been like this' or something new?

You have two (identical) bulbs in the housing? One is low other is high?

The first time I replaced one of the bulbs in my 02, my aim went out of whack. Eventually traced to the bulb being incorrectly seated. It looked good - altho it is hard to see in the open bonnet position. After a couple of tries I determined it was NOT in correctly and one it WAS correct everything was back to normal.
