Control Arm Bushings & Clutch Questions
Hey Guys,
So my front lower control arm bushings are shot, and I figured I might as well replace the fronts while I'm at it. I'm planning on going full poly, but I noticed the fronts are cheaper to go with an offset bushing. I'm not super familiar with offset bushings, I did a little research and I know it will adjust the castor a little bit, but how worth it will that be on a stock suspension?
I'm also going to be doing the clutch and a supercharger pulley while the subframe is dropped if anyone has any tips
Thanks
Nick

You don't need the additional caster, but it is a nice perk.
If it's just a DD I wouldn't try to sell you on additional caster, we install the Powerflex bushings in every car that comes in, from daily drivers to race cars never heard a complaint on them.
Short of making sure everything is torqued properly it is a fairly straight forward job, just a lot to take off.

Thanks for the info!
Also, I'm giving myself at least a week to do everything, I've already been studying the Pelican Parts guides, and it looks pretty straight forward, just hoping the nuts and bolts cooperate...
I wish I would've known about you guys when I was working up in Toledo last year! I definitely would've come up to check out the shop!

I just had mine done by local BMW shop. I didn't have time to do them and when I bought it few months back passanger side was soo worn you could move control arm back and forth when it was in the air.
I got hosed $575 though just for the two and not even powerflex or poly bushings

Damn, that sucks!
That's how bad my passenger side is now, but I already have the Powerflex bushings in the mail.
