and found out that the mechanic could not proceed.
Asked me if I hit anything. I didn't. So he showed me what he found.

I won't be able to get the rack replaced right away, am I ok to drive with the rack in this condition until I can get it repaired?

Ouch. Hopefully one of the track guys will know if this is a big problem.
