i put it back. in same position (i posted pic before)doesn't want to go in further. banged ,smashed ,hit with hummer no movement. maybe somebody give me big favor and posts his left axle picture?! how it sits in right position? automatic and manual are different. ive got manual pic already and it almost touches transmission
i disasembled left cv axle because it poped out couple times more, so heres posible cause;
splieners was rounded.ordered new one , i hope new part solves problem
Looking at those pics, I would pull that shaft seal, gently use a brush to try removing all of the metal debris from the output splines inside the trans, being careful to not let much drop into the trans, and then install a new seal and shaft. Make sure the shaft goes all the way in this time, and for sure you need to check your trans fluid level. It definitely looks like some has come out.
