2C01 and 2BDD faults, errors, any help on that?

Hi,

I have a problem with my car, when driving somethimes it will go into limp mode with half engine light and my car power is limited.

I'm getting two faults: 2C01, 2BDD something with high fuel pressure, but I don't have any problems with starting the car od idling so probably not hpfp.

Do you know if it is possible to exchange pressure sensor in hpfp if it is faulty?
Or what is a part number and a manufacturer?

Any help with faults?
Thanks

If the car has HPFP codes I would recommend a call to your local dealer who may or may not tell you that there is warranty coverage on your car that will save you from having to pay over $1500 for a HPFP.

Thank you, but I'm from Europe and we need to pay for everything. That's why I need to know the meaning of faults if someone have INPA, INSTA, DIS or any other BMW/MINI software and can help.

Dealer will say but a new hpfp, if that will not help buy a new turbo etc. and this is not a way.

I only know of the US warranty on the HPFP, but here the pump has an extended dealer warranty, which if diagnosed by the dealer (them seeing HPFP codes) is replaced free of charge.

No matter where you go or live there will always be some sort of diagnostic fee as well as repair cost, I would try to call your local dealer and see if the same warranty applies.

Otherwise the pump is about $1300 USD and takes about 30 minutes to replace if you have the right tools.

Just out of curiosity was it covered by any type of warranty extension? I'm in Canada and I'm having an issue with my dealer getting them to accept anything I show them regarding covering the part due to its poor quality

I don't know about Canada but in US it is covered.
Nothing is covered in Europe
But I used pump from PSA (Citroen/Peugeot) and it is working great, it was cheaper 5 times than BMW/MINI.

Does your MINI have an N18 engine? If so, would you be able to provide the part number of your replacement fuel pump please.
