I feel a bit stupid asking for help on this. I've done this before on other cars. I've also done my share of mods on my MINI. Anyway, I tried replacing the high beam bulbs and couldn't get them out. In the manual it mentions pushing the wire to the side, then down. I don't know if it was the awkward angle of leaning under the bonnet and looking up (not to mention the heat, humidity and mosquitos), but I gave up. I was able to slide the wire over to the side, this loosened the bulb, but I couldn't release it. I didn't want to force it and end up breaking something. Anyone out there with advice? Thanks.
