93c9 airbag sensor fault code

Searched the forum and 93c9 pulls nothing. 93c9 codes translates to front passenger side sensor error. I've swapped the prior one out with two known good sensors and still pop a light and this code. Had this 07 MCS For 5 months and it has alway had the light and code. Today I think I've ruled out the seat occupancy error (what the dealer wanted to replace) by trying an emulator with no changes (code wouldn't clear). ANY other ideas before I chase the wiring harness?????? Don't suppose there anyone with a SRS wiring diagram???

What year is the car? My 06 has a recall for that and is at the dealer now.

2007 hatchback MCS. If it was a convertible, it to would have been covered for the occupancy sensor.

An emulator? can you explain?
Does the fault just say pass side sensor error? Or head protection , side air bag?
It still may be the OC# seat mat sensor. Sometimes it takes a couple of tried to get the fault to delete when replaced. Aside from that There were some connector issues but mainly with the head protection bags. You can put electrical grease on the connectors and try to clear the codes after that. Clubmans had head air bag faults that would go away doing that.

As ammodave linked to, the emulator simulates a person setting in the passenger seat. This turns the passenger side airbag "on" all the time. The code this MCS is popping is a "front sensor passenger side" and unfortunately not an occupancy sensor error. The emulator has dip switches on it, so just for giggles I flipped one of the switches to on. That immediately tripped an occupancy sensor code. My next step is to clean and seal (dielectric grease) every connector. fun
