So I have A 2012 mini clubman i think its called, I lost the side scuttle in the Nevada Desert. So i got the scuttle and the connector from the dealer but the wires need to be connected to the connector. I was wondering if there was a trick to getting the wires into the connector.

I think its some how related to the rapid blinker I have since I have changed all the bulbs twice and can't seem to make it work anyway. It may be something completely different.
