Hello! i have an 06 r53. i was having a problem where my passenger door would lock when i used the key but wouldnt unlock no matter what and wouldnt lock if i used the console toggle. i just replaced the actuator and it is still doing the same exact thing. could it be a problem with the bcm? i have another problem where when i turn my key, my headlights turn on and my gauges light up as if the headlight stalk was in the on position but it is actually in the off position. i assume this could be associated with a bad bcm as well?

i heard that a bad ground somewhere in the systemcould also cause this? thanks!

 

Yes, the BCM seems to be going. When you have mutipe problems its usually the BCM got wet from a sunroof drain leak or just from water getting inside and soaking the floor. From like an unclosed window
