Anyone know what fault codes P0704 & P0568 mean? They are not listed in anything I have at the ready.

Neither of them are listed on my MINI OBD-II codes list, but here are the "generic" codes from OBD-II codes site

P0704 Clutch Switch Input Circuit Malfunction
P0568 Cruise Control Set Signal Malfunction

Do those match with any symptoms you are seeing?

 

I concur Trippy's findings on the codes. 0568 and 0704 are not listed MINI-specific codes. What is the issue you're experiencing?

 

Here's a strange one. I coudn't rev past 5500 (no cel), pulled P0571 fault code (Chrysler cruise control code). I don't have cruise control. After re-starting there was no early limiter and the next day, no code. The MINI tech was un-interested without a record of the event.

Thanks Guys, I replaced my standard wheel with a multi function wheel and had the clutch pedal sensor spaced too far away from the pedal. The pedal code has been resolved but Im still geting the "cruise control malfunction" code so there must be a wire crossed etc.

 

We got it RIGHT on the first try????
