My tire pressure warning light came on a couple of weeks ago. I was due for a tire rotation, so I just left it alone until then (2 days). Long story short: I ended up buying a set of four new tires. But the light is still on.

Everything I have found about resetting it starts with "hold the button down until the light turns on..." Well my light is on before I even push the button. I have tried the reset process at least a dozen times since the new tires were installed with no luck.

Got any suggestions?

 

Check to make sure the button is working and connected.

you might have a bad wheel speed sensor ... this usually causes more lights to come on but it could be worth checking out . .

 

Thanks for both suggestions. I have some free time tomorrow so I will check those out.

 

I've also found that the button itself can become "sticky" and be stuck in the down position.

Popping it out of the console holder and twisting or flexing the actual button container may wiggle it and release it.
