I have a Standard 2012 mini and a reader and I have been working on cars etc for 40 yrs.
My question is, what should I be reading (volts) on the 3 wires feeding the inlet camshaft sensor? Can anyone tell me what they have with the car running or where I can get that info?

I get a check eng. light, reader says,
2968 Inlet camshaft sensor.

I replace sensor and clear codes... Car runs for a few days, eng check comes on, reader says,
2982 Inlet camshaft sensor
2986 Oxy sensor before cat bank1: syst check
2968 inlet camshaft sensor

I clear codes and run for a day

Before I replaced the first inlet sensor, I checked it for continuity, it had none so I replaced. I checked the new one, it had 15.6 or so between 2 of the terminals. Now I pulled the new one and it has no continuity? I may have just burnt my way thru 2 sensors if I have a bad feed wire?
