External lighting problem - need advice

I have a problem with my R53 2003 MCS. I removed my rusted out, non-working driving lights. This appears to have caused half of my exterior lights to stop working: Passenger side front headlight, passenger side light (near the side mirror), passenger side brake light and back turn signal, along with the driver side tail light and driver side front fog light and wheel well light.

I've checked bulbs and fuses. All appear fine. I assume something shorted out. But what? And why just these specific lights, and no other lights or internal electronics?

Before I take it in to a shop, I'd like feedback as to what may have happened or if there is something I can do to correct the problem without having to take it in. Thanks!
