coolant puddle left side

So got home and small puddle under left side (usa passenger) developed. No overheating no white smoke from exhaust, could it be water pump? Coolant bottle seems half full but it seems chalky and coolant on ground is green. Read about inlet on left front motor leaking. Will keep eye on it tomorrow and check it more thoroughly this weekend when it's brake day on my commander.

After checking all hoses in the dark using a flashlight, I would next suspect a cracked thermostat (plastic) housing. They are welded (glued) and it seems rather common for them to start leaking at the seam at 60,000± miles. I did mine about a month ago after having numerous warning lights come and go. The dealer wanted $200 for a thermostat, my mechanic got me one for $120. Entire job (I supplied genuine MINI coolant, he had distilled water) cost about $375 including Calif. tax. The car seems to run quieter now for some reason.

I got up close and personal with the thermostat housing with a flashlight and it seems intact the beat I could see and the puddle and wetness seem to be located on the passenger side and briefly looking up underneath last night it would seem that the lower motor mount on thst side is wet as well..?

Ok some clarification the puddle seems to be the passenger side (drive belt) side of the motor. Tank has some white marks on it but nothing at seem, Oil cap does not seem to have a residue on it nor does the coolant tank so I don't suspect the head gasket. No white smoke as stated before just a puddle, took a flashlight and looked hard down into the engine compartment and it seems that the back of the motor below the header is wet with coolant not oil, so will had 50/50 to it this afternoon and nurse it home and then get it on ramps after my Jeep gets it front brakes done...fun fun, wont the water pump make some noise before it goes?
