06 manual trans issue

Went out this morning to fire up my 06 MCS. I'm unable to put the car in any gear when it's on. When I shut the engine off, no issue with putting the tranny into all 6 gears and reverse.

I've checked, and there's plenty of Dot 4, (at the high mark).

The car has 78K miles on it. So still very young.

Cable adjustment, to get more clutch engagement?

TIA,

-Jav

Clutch is hydraulic.... So self adjusting.

I would pump the cluch a bunch...
Then look for leaks or drips...think the master/slave died...just a guess..

will do, (clutch pumping).

I'm also hunting around here, and seeing the slave cylinder cropping up.

pumped the sh** out of the clutch. 200+ times. Checked the Dot 4 level, full.

Still couldn't get the car to go into any gear, while turned on. Turned off, no issue.

Then I noticed a leak underneath her. (The car has been sitting for a few days). Ran my finger over it, and it feels like Dot 4 fluid.

So I'll check out the slave cylinder.

If your seeing a leak def check the slave cylinder as they are pretty common to fail.

This is video of my slave cylinder, to give you an idea of the distance it needs to move to function. If yours seems to move about this distance it likely is something internal.
