2009 vents that move on there own

I have a 2009 r57. I have the chrome rings with this model. I set the vents on the dash to the straight forward postion and when I hit the bumps the vents turn and twist to different directions. Is there a way to tighten them.

I had a European Mini One that had that problem. I took some black electricians tape and put a band around them to tighten them up in the housing.
