I've read that it should twist off 90 degrees CCW. I've tried that (and CW) but it doesn't budge with a pretty strong amount of force. I haven't resorted to more herculean force because I can already feel the base like it's going to split apart. Any tips how to remove it?


I've tried pushing also to the side and pushing up while twisting but no success.
