Have been just about everywhere looking for the 2 torx bolts connecting the tack to steering column. Im looking to try and install the cravenspeed phone mount so longer bolts are needed. Does anyone know where to find these?

 

Have you contacted Cravenspeed? Bolts should have been included with the kit, according to the installation instructions.

You could Take one of the shorter bolts to the local hardware store...
True-value (as opposed to the big box ones) has racks of trays of bolts...
Match the thread....then pick the head... Then stainless or even brass...and length...
Cost...about ¢13 each....might take 15 minutes...

 

Ive been a few other places to look around. It seems that its somehow a really unique thread which is kind of weird

 

If you have an Ace Hardware nearby, try it. Have been amazed at times what odd nut or bolt I've been able to source from them.
