Which washer reservoir does what?

Does the washer res with the headlamp and dipstick on it hold fluid for just the headlamps or the headlamps and front windshield?

OK, so where is the pump?

Basically, I have lost the front and back washers and I'm looking for the single point of failure. I have full fluid in that resevoir. I assume there is one pump, does anybody know the location? I havn't looked yet but will work on this tomorrow. The fuse appears good, I still need to throw a voltmeter on it though.

I would assume that the pump is either inside the reservoir, or attached directly to the side or bottom, near the lowest point of the res.
then again you know what 'assume' really means
