Hello guys, I've been searching around both this site and other forums with no clear answers.


When I bought my 04S I had the PO put the stock steering wheel back on, which triggered the airbag warning light. I need to pass Maryland state inspection this coming week, and I'm wondering if it will be an issue? Seems awfully naive to pay the dealer ~$100 for a 5 minute job just to pass inspection.

you can get an airbag tool off ebay for $40 bucks to clear the code. look for a bmw airbag tool. you will find the info on here. I forgot what the name was though.
