wierd rattling from transmission area
So about two months ago I noticed a wierd rattling noise right after I would let the clutch out from a stop or very low speed (sounds like dragging a metal chair). I assumed this was a glazed flywheel and since I wanted to put a quaife in anyways decided to replace the clutch and flywheel and figured this would solve the noise.
However, replacing the clutch and flywheel did not fix this noise. I then thought it was a possibly a bad timing chain tensioner and had it checked out by a mechanic who told me the chain tension is fine.
I have noticed that this sound gets way worse after I take a very hard left corner such as a freeway on ramp and after this hard corner the noise can be heard simply driving at low speeds in first gear having nothing to do with the clutch being in or out. I have searched all over the internet for an answer an no one seems to have had this problem, any thoughts?
