Front End Service Mode Tools

Ok I give up. I've searched and searched on this forum and others and couldn't turn up much of an answer. Does anybody know where to buy the pins/bolts/rods/whatever that are used to put the front end of the mini in service mode?

They're the black rod in the middle of this picture. In Between the radiator support and where the bumper beam bolts. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...hp/photo/24149

Unfortunately no. However, I've put my front end in service mode without them. You get about 3" even without the rods.

Using a few carriage bolts...you are fine...folks once sold them for $$ online....then folks realized you could buy them at home depot for $....or simply reuse the shorter bumper bolts ...and it works fine...

You're talking about just sliding the front end out and letting it continue to rest on the subframe right? I have to remove the subframe to get the trans out so I don't think that will work. Maybe I'm picturing it wrong in my head...
