I installed my Alta CAI for a while and I jux realized that it look different!!!!! the one that is shown on every vendors site are red Foam , PLASTIC TOP & BOTTOM with net surrounded. The one that I'd received is jus a piece of foam with nothing. Maybe I did a bad job on description... but i m confused!!!!

anyone knows if they changed the design.. or jux I got into some trouble of internet scam???

Ed, you have the new CAI design with the red foam over the inner mesh, which supposedly increased total air intake volumn due to the increased in the surface area.

The change-over took place at the end of last year, although many vendors still use the old design on their website, causing confusion.
