Lots!!

I run a JCW rally car and try to carry most of the common sensors as spare parts.

By "engine" I presume you mean engine and associated parts.

Off the top of my head some of the more common and potentially troublesome ones
  • antiknock sensor
  • water temperature sensor
  • intake air temp sensor
  • combined boost pressure / temp sensor
  • manifold pressure sensor
  • lambda / O2 (multiple)
  • crank position
  • throttle position / throttle body position
  • fuel pressure
There are lots more. If I log on with my software I can monitor dozens of parameters in real time.

Why do you want to know?

Cause some time ago i had an issue with loss of power around 4000rpm, there seemed to be loss of overboost, changed the map sensor and all worked back to normal. But i think there are two map sensors... right? One after the turbo and one before

There are at least two pressure sensors, at least on mine, which is a euro spec N14 JCW

One is temp / pressure sensor, part 5 on this diagram, post turbo

Second is inlet pressure sensor, part 10 on this page, pre turbo

Are those two called Manifold Absolute Pressure sensors? Also known as m.a.p?
