Help! Weather stripping keeps coming off!

Hi everyone,

My weather stripping in the back seat window behind the drivers side has come off for the third time now! . I have fixed it twice by cleaning the rubber and taking off old adhesive and applying new adhesive. I just don't get it, why it is keep coming off! Has anyone else experienced this before? How did you fix it? What am I doing wrong? Is there a specific adhesive I need to use? Thank you

I had the rear one come off before and I just replaced it. If some water gets under glue its going to be hard to hold. What adhesive is that?

Also check the rear one because they tend to peel also. 51312754852

I used the attached picture for adhesive. For the product you listed do I need to take the whole unit out? How do I do it?

That's 3M usually good stuff. I guess the rubber on the seal does not accept the contact and after a couple times. It gets worse and messy.

Shows no prep. But something is getting between the adhesive and the rubber.

I would just replace the trim.

Yea , those trim piece are for your MINI R56 Model , I know you have a second gen MINI from the small bump on the rear upper black trim. And you are in the r56 section.

The trim piece is for the rear passenger side.
