Yellow Engine Light
Hi everybody,looks that something goes wrong with my MINI :(
Yellow engine light came on before 2 weeks(one time car went to safe mode).
a local service shop told me that is a high pressure fuel pump issue and that i was need a new one.
i decided not to visit my dealer afraid of the cost and the labour but it turned out that i made mistake because i ended up replacing the fuel with a used one.
Finally i am very worry not only that i buy a used fuel pump but that the engine light when the the key is on and pressing the button once is present,after i switch on the engine light turns off.
is this normal?

Every morning after the replacement of the high pressure fuel pump..i have cold start problems....rough start ...
i dont know if it can be the timing chain tensioner problem but searching the forums and youtube my mind thoughts that is a HPFP failure ..
just returned from the dealership
