Hi, it is about time for me to have to go through emissions and I am having a bit of trouble with an SES light. When I read the code, it comes up as P0455 Large Leak. Also, my check gas cap light comes on randomly when driving. I have replaced the gas cap with no luck. Are there any lines that usually crack or break? By the way this is on a 2004 Cooper S with about 90k.

not typically. Have you had any work done recently? Check the evap purge solenoid and corresponding lines located next to the oil dipstick. Also, check the seals on top of the fuel tank for leaking fuel. If nothing comes up, take it into a shop to get a smoke test done.

Check evap purge solenoid under the hood and make sure connections and hoses are ok.
