Big question

I bought my mini coupe at the end of may which was a dealer transfer. I took possession of it with 70 miles on it. I brought it to the shop for a couple of things and one of them was the passenger wiper was not touching the windshield an inch or so from each end. I get an email from my sa asking me if I've ever changed the wiper cause it has an aftermarket anco blade only on the passenger side and to boot it's the wrong size. The first thing that ran through my mind is that the car was at a body shop before I bought it. My sa said maybe someone switched the blade in a parking lot which I don't buy at all. What do you all think and what you do about this if you were in this situation?

Why would there be an aftermarket wiper blade on the car if I'm the original owner?

When a car sits on a dealer's lot, a number of strange things happen. People have been known to use them as a parts source or even employees trying to get a part for another customer. Good chance when the car was dealer traded, they found a missing wiper blade and not having one in stock, used an aftermarket blade that did not fit properly.

As long as they replace it and there are no obvious signs of damage, I wouldn't let it worry me.
