This may be a stupid question

Is a squeeky belt covered under warranty? Thing is god awful noisey, well maybe just to me
.
Anything i can do in the mean time to get it to stop? I wont be able to make it to the dealer for about 5 days. This happened in the winter time when it first started to get cold, but it cleared up, now its getting warmer and its starting again.

Oh and it has 32k+ miles on it.

Yes, I think it is. It's worth reporting it.

Usually the belt can get glazed or something coats it. If the tension adjustment doesn't help they can sometimes use a spray. Sometimes colder weather affects it.

I plan to change me pulley belt at about 25,000 to 30,000 miles anyway.
