hello all, i am trying to install a rather large horn under the hood. the only places that it will fit are next to the mafafold, and inside the abs compartment. well, the instructions say not to install it next to the mafafold due to heat, but what about in that plastic area where the abs stuff is in? is this a wise place to put it? and it barly fits in there too, the horn is like 5x5x12" (yea, big )
Please let me konw if you experts know if anyother place to mount it.
Thanks
Shane

If you remove the front bumper cover, there is lots of room where the stock horns are mounted.

Try a search for 'air horn' threads. I know there are a couple threads out there that have been discussing which type to buy and where to put them. Maybe that'll help. Good luck with that. Big horny MINI's are the way to go.
Cheers,

yea, i looked at the place where people are putting in the air horns, but there was not enough room for it. she realy wants the old horn, it makes the sound ooooga. but the horn is huge.
so, does anybody think it would be ok in that abs brake box?
Thanks
Shane
