My Husband just told me yesterday that I have a bulb in the Third Brake Light OUT, we just confirmed it tonight. I'm wondering why I didn't get a Light out Warning and if anyone knows of an LED Option for the 3rd Brake Light Assembly? I know it is a one-piece deal, I have a Pulsar Module too. I have the OEM Part #, was just wondering if anyone has looked into changing it to an LED??

Yes, it's already a row of LED's.

You said "a bulb" is out. Did you mean one of the light dots, or the entire 3rd brake light?

Thanks for clarifying that. Only one "light dot" is out, not the entire unit.

 

If the 3rd brake light is constructed like gen1's were, the led lights are soldered to a board....expected life of a led is beyond the life of the car, so oem ones are almost never replaceable.
