I am happy to report that v36 has fixed the stumble problem. In fact, I'm squealing the tires when I take off from a stop because I'm so used to having to push down so far on the gas pedal normally. It might be in my head but it seems to be smoother through the gears, as well.

At any rate, the v36 chip upgrade is well worth it. Ask your dealer to install it.

i'm glad to here that it worked for you  U think that you could write some kind of short review of v36 and send it to me at nick@teammini.net I think it would be good for people to see that people are having good results with the new software upgrades. Thanks. -Nick

does it cost anything to have them upgrade the ECU?

Same here Mr. W.

I had a slight stumble on my '03 MCS and v.36 took care of it. The car seems to take off smoother and really goes after 4500 rpm. Dealer took care of it as a freebie warrenty issue. Here's a cheer for no more stumbles.

v36 also took care of my stumble, so far. It's still cold, so I'll wait until summer for a final opinion. But right now, I also have trouble starting out because I'm expecting the stumble. It has yet to appear since my ECU upgrade.

I just have to get rid of the snow tires so I can get some traction!
