Clutch noise/feel

Tried searching but I didn't notice anything on this.

My '09 MCS has about 21k miles on it, and I don't know if it has always been like this or I just noticed it, but when I push the clutch about 1/2-2/3 of the way down, it feels like the clutch pedal is making contact with something and there's a very faint "thud" or contact type sound.
I basically feels like the clutch pedal is hitting a heavy wire and pushing through it (hope that makes sense).
No shifting problems, engine noise, or anything like that. And like I said I don't know if this is new or I'm just noticing it now.

Thanks for any info you have!!

Your pedal might have some side-to-side lateral movement. Mine had this problem and part of it was rubbing on the clutch piping in the footwell. The dealer fixed mine under warranty.
