rear spray nozzle

Well I finally got around to cleaning up the rear sprayer for the window. It not shoot really far, maybe 5 ft behind the car now when the cover is off. But i got a new problem, it seems to just make a big mess under the mini cooper emblem. Basically all the fluid is under the wiper and none of the glass. Is there a piece that redirects the fluid to the window that may be broken now?

Is that nozzle adjusted correctly? Post a pic. It's tough to say if something is missing when we don't know what you are dealing with at the moment.

I have attached two pics, one of the cap on and one of the cap off. I think the cap might be missing a rubber or plastic piece to it. At the moment, it just squirts into the cap and down towards the bumper.

looks like the nozzel is broken off, judging by the rust on the wiper nut the water was just flowing back onto the nut. the part that jets the water to the window should be pointing to the left but by the looks of it it pointing right,

There should be a small rubber "O" ring in the plastic cover where the arrow is pointing to on your picture. It is hard to tell from the picture if it is there or not.

No there is no O ring in the cover. I think it might have worn out, there was little bits of rubber in there. Looking at:

It looks like I might have to buy the cover to get the o ring. Anybody can confirm? Also anybody knows how it works from nozzle to window? Maybe I can find a replacement.
