emergency brake cables

I noticed when i was changing into my summer wheels that my right rear wheel still rotated. The emergency brake apparently has stretched out. Who carries these?? WayMotorWork? Outmotoring? I've check some sites and no one has them (atleast not on their sites)

I've heard that Way has a bunch of parts unlisted on his site and may have what you need if you call. Otherwise you might try Pelican Parts.com. You may need the part information from realOEM.com.

They are adjustable, so if it is just stretched, under the center console you can tighten it up. If they are broken, that is different.

I forgot to check realoem.com for the part #. That helps!!! HRM, I tried to adjust it. I don't think it's snapped because it holds, very little but holds. Behind the e-brake lever, where the one cable goes to two. That piece is tilted toward the driver side. So that side is tighter than the passenger

Yes, they should be similar, even if one was replaced in the past the steel only can stretch so much and that swivel should allow both to get tightened even with old and new in place.

The retaining crowns are the only difficult part of the swap. When you get the new one you will see the expanding clip. Removing it isn't too bad. Use a tiny screwdriver to rotate it so the opening that allows it to be put on the clip faces up. Then by pushing down on it you can force the clip off the cable. Once off the old one just slides out and things get simple.
